Information for Contributors to 2012 International Conference on Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection

The 2012 International Conference on Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection is interested in the papers that deals with the multi and inter disciplinary field of sustainable development which include (but is not limited to) environmental sciences, environmental engineering, environmental management, agricultural environment, sustainable architecture, environmental security, human security, environmental governance, socioeconomic environment, urban and rural development, industrial environment, clean technology and built environment.

The paper(s) to be submitted for the conference must not have been presented previously, published or under consideration for presentation or publication elsewhere. The paper is expected to be in English language and in word format but may also be submitted in French – and if accepted, the cost of translation will be covered by the 2012 International Conference on Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection.
The paper(s) submitted for presentation in the 2012 International Conference on Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection should be research/review/report/policy statement/policy position based and must be between 1,500 and 6,000 words.

The paper should be prepared in the following format
Title: The title should not be more than twenty (20) words
Author(s): Surname, other name(s) or initials.
Affiliation(s): Author(s) Affiliation of author(s) is expected to come immediately after the name(s) of the author(s).
Abstract: It should be a brief but detailed summary of the research/review/report/policy statement/policy position and not more than 250 words.
Key words: 5 to 6 key words should be provided after the abstract.
Reference Styles: All the works cited are expected to be listed alphabetically as appropriate as possible in the reference section. While in text citation should be: (Author(s) surname, year of publication). In text citation for multiple authors should be cited with and in between the authors’ surnames of two authors (e.g. Akin and Brown, 2010), and for three or more authors, et al. should be placed after the first author’s name (e.g. Stone et al., 2011). All citation must be listed alphabetically as appropriate as possible in the reference sections.
Also all tables and figures in the papers must have source.

After acceptance of the paper for presentation in the 2012 International Conference on Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection, it will be included in the Conference Proceedings and Book of Abstracts. The paper will then be forwarded to Journal of Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection for consideration.

November 30, 2011 -Deadline for abstracts
December 15, 2011 - Notification of acceptance of abstract
December 31, 2012 - Submission of full paper
February 15, 2012 - Reviewers comments on paper to be published
