INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP AND STUDY TOUR
Theme: Constructing Leadership for Environment and Development
Date: 11-16 October, 2010

Aim and Objectives
The aim of the workshop and study tour is to accelerate sustainable development through learning. The following objectives support the aim. The study tour will enable middle to high level administrators and industry executives:

  1. to have first hand access to world-class
    development thought – transformation
    through construction;
  2. to exchange experiences with
    international counterparts;
  3. to network with counterparts in the public
    and private sectors; and
  4. to explore how international experiences
    can help accelerate development.

  2. Capacity Building and Policy Formulation for
    industry transformation
  3. Developing Effective Contract Procurement Strategy
  4. Public Private Partnerships: making it work for
    development
  5. Working with agents for efficient delivery of large projects
  6. Edinburgh: Planning of world-class city.
